Challenge

Many well-known soft drink brands bombard their customers with visually overloaded packaging with a large amount of unnecessary information.

What if there was a canned beverage with a crisp brand identity?

Approach

I created Spice, a brand concept that tells customers what it is with an energising voice and minimal distraction. Spice is the perfect summer mocktail for the cheeky, for the bubbly and everyone in-between offering refreshing varieties. As part of the concept,
I created three mocktail flavour profiles with matching can designs and a website prototype displaying them for potential customers.

Outcome

Boldness sits at the heart of Spice’s brand identity. I have chosen a strong colour palette that expresses this clearly. The eye-catching and complimentary colour pairings evoke the feeling of summer. The identity cuts to the chase through colours that immediately convey flavour profiles and through the smallest amount of information necessary. The website showcases how the different designs of the cans look unique individually and also work together harmoniously as a unit.
