App design and display advertising based on brand guidelines

Challenge

Mixx is a fictional music provider service created for a design challenge. Mixx specialises in bespoke music mixes to match user listening habit through AI.
The task was to design a platform for this service based on the brand guidelines provided in the brief set out by the design challenge.

Approach

I designed an app prototype and supporting display advertisement for the concept of Mixx. This solution accomplished the requirement of focusing on user listening habits and providing relevant playlist recommendations.

Outcome

The brand guidelines specified the brand colours, the typeface, the key visual and the tagline. To create the app prototype, I took these components and optimised them for a small screen. As the app heavily focuses on playlists, it was important to highlight them on all screens. The supporting display advertisement features the key visual of Mixx adapted to all sizes and use cases.
